WME Signs Chess.com To Expand Partnerships And Audience

Beverly Hills, CA (December 14, 2023) – Chess.com, the world’s largest online platform for chess, today announced it has signed with leading entertainment agency WME.

A subsidiary of global sports and entertainment company Endeavor, WME will work with Chess.com to build on the global popularity of chess across digital media, fashion, film, food, music, sports, television, and theater. Additionally, Endeavor has made a strategic investment in Chess.com.

WME will work with Chess.com to amplify the game of chess by developing non-scripted content including documentaries, building celebrity-centric moments, creating crossover content to attract new audiences, and fueling the game’s growth by elevating its profile in mainstream media. WME will also represent Chess.com as its exclusive sales agency of record for global brand partnerships.
