GM Dmitry Andreikin hat sich aus persönlichen Gründen von der dritten Etappe des FIDE Grand Prix zurückgezogen. Nach der Entscheidung des FIDE-Präsidenten und gemäß den Vorschriften wird er durch GM Andrey Esipenko als bestbewerteter teilnahmeberechtigter Spieler in der Liste ab Dezember 2021 ersetzt.
Die dritte und letzte Etappe des FIDE Grand Prix findet vom 21. März bis 04. April in Berlin statt.
